            The completion of this mini-project has been very insightful to us as a team. Unbeknownst to us, every day we are involving and using data communication and networking.   Star Topology Star topology is a network topology in which each network component is physically connected to a central node such as a router, hub or switch. In a star topology, the central hub acts like a server and the connecting nodes act like clients. In our cyber cafe, all of our devices will be connected directly to the switch, including the Gaming Desktop, Video Game Console and VR Equipment. This setup will increase the overall security, performance and privacy of our cyber cafe. Advantage The reason we used star topology in our cyber cafe is because: Centralized Management      Having a central switch makes it easy for the network administrator to monitor, control traffic, allocate bandwidth, and manage resources effectively from the central point all. This centralized control simplifies network administration tasks. IP Address Table      Subnetting is a networking technique that improves efficiency, security, and overall network performance by splitting a big IP network into smaller, easier-to-manage subnetworks. The IP address given in this case is 192.168.1.0 , which denotes a Class C address . Smaller networks tend to use Class C addresses , which have a maximum of 256 addresses . The network part is represented by the first three octets (192.168.1) , and host addresses are reserved for the final octet (0).      There are 44 devices at the PixelPulse Nexus Lounge, including the admin's device. Two switches are taken into consideration in operation in order to assign IP addresses effectively. Two VR stations , a console , and sixteen gaming PCs are housed in the second switch in addition to the twenty-four that can fit in the first.        A subnet size of at least 24 addresses is necessary for the first switch that houses 24 gaming PCs .   Network Equipment        Our cyber cafe’s network backbone comprises essential hardware to ensure seamless connectivity and efficient data transfer. We’ve invested in two TP-LINK TL-SG1024DE 24-Port switches, providing extensive connectivity for our devices, optimizing the network for smooth operations. Alongside these switches, we’ve integrated two ASUS AX3000 WiFi 6 Routers, offering high-speed wireless connectivity with enhanced performance, meeting the demands of modern online gaming and editing. To ensure robust connections throughout our space, we’ve deployed high-quality Cat6 UTP cables, totaling 50 units, ensuring reliable data transmission across all our systems. Each computer is equipped with top-tier hardware, featuring Ryzen 5 2600 processors, Radeon RX 580 graphics cards, and other premium components tailored for gaming
